Ciao! I’m Georgia Hanna, founder of VinoVita—a project born from a lifelong love of Italian wine, culture, and meaningful hospitality.

I first moved to Florence from Miami in 2012, where I earned my sommelier certification. That experience opened the door to an international journey through the world of wine. I later owned several restaurants in the United Kingdom, including a curated Italian wine bar—a venture that led me into wine importing and deepened my connection to Italy’s regional wines and producers.

After many rainy winters, I knew it was time to come home. A few visits a year just wasn’t cutting it. Now based once again in Florence, I’ve returned to the place that first inspired it all—with more time to explore, connect with local producers, and share what I love most.

Over the years, I’ve become the go-to person for friends and travelers looking to experience the best of Italian wine, food, and hidden spots in the city. Think of me as your friend in Florence, an insider who won’t let you fall for any tourist traps and genuinely wants you to have the best food and wine experience possible the city I love so much and call home.
